What does your filters protect from?

Every gas, particle, virus or bacteria we have been asked to build an air filter against, we have been able to do.

We already have filters, why should I buy yours?

No other air filter can manage both particles and gases in one and the same filter element. They also do not cope with cold or warm climate, humidity, or shaky environments, an environment you likely already work in.

We do not only offer you the best protection against particles and gases in difficult environments, but our filters also fit directly into your machine,
you just replace it in the same way as before. Be sure to protect yourself properly.

 

Are your air filters really the best?

The short answer is yes. The long answer is that our filters can be used in real operating environment, your work environment, which other air filters struggle to do. Our combined protection against particles, gases, spores and bacteria in one and the same filter is also unique for us.
No other manufacturer can offer you that kind of protection. And when talking purification, well, that we also are better at.

 

Does your air filter help in my dirty and dangerous work environment?

We adapt the air filters to your specific environment, so you can be safe from the right dangerous particles and gases.

 

My work environment is not dangerous, is it unnecessary to buy your filters?

In the vast majority of cases the environment is not as clean as you first think. Just take diesel exhausts as an example where not even your original filter will be enough. You can always ask us about your working environment. We will not sell you a filter you will not benefit from.

 

Shaky environment and explosion risk, what happens?

The filter is designed to withstand vigorous vibrations without damage (test FMV). Our filters also handle 9G pressure and explosion rate (NATO-tested).

 

Rain and moisture in the filter, what happens?

The filter material does not absorb the moisture.

 

Temperature drop, minus degrees, what happens?

Our filter is designed to meet NATO’s demand for temperatures down to -50 degrees Celsius.

 

Fire resistant filter?

Are you looking for a filter that can withstand fire? No problem. We manufacture filters that can meet the requirement ULH 94HF, FMV22302 or Far Part 25
standard.

Good to know is that you have our fireproof filters, you can use the cab as a protection zone when it burns.

 

Can your air filter be used in my machine?

Yes, of course. Easy to replace — OEM fit.

 

How could you have come up with your own manufacturing process?

Sometimes it just does. Olle Sydlén had long thought about how air filters could be improved. Suddenly, he woke up with a crazy idea that involved the family’s microwave oven. The following day, the air filter industry was completely changed, and Racoon Miljöfilter was a go.

 

What material are you using and how does the process work?

Our filters are made of a certain foam material, which we add in several layers. All layers are different both in thickness and size of the cells.
The combination of multiple layers of material, which all gets special treatment with microwaves, during the manufacturing process, gives the layers specific and unique features.

Depending on what you need, you will get a special composition of activated charcoal. Today we have six different compositions of activated charcoal to use from, which is significantly more than any other manufacturer.

 

How often do I need to change your filters?

There are no simple answers to that. The environment, the number of operating hours, the level of particles, gases, spores and bacteria, everything affect how long a filter can be used before it needs to be replaced. This includes all air filters, not only ours. A tool we have developed is our electronic indicator PI that helps you determine when you need to change the filter.
